In this context, an objective approach to the issues of the current architectural scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Balkans, SE Europe is encouraged, as well as its positioning within the global environment of rapid changes, specificities, and contradictions.

Acknowledging the fact that architects have a responsibility to address the socio-cultural atmosphere and offer potential solutions, the intention is to foster international exchange of experiences and knowledge, where scientific and practical approaches are equally valuable and inseparable, and their reflection is of utmost importance, both within the profession and beyond.

Special (thematic) issues are published occasionally in order to highlight the topics of highest relevance and strive to engage wider audience, by publishing various articles related with the architectural profession.  Special (thematic) issues intend for the scholars to step outside the academic margins, increase the visibility and discourse of their research by directly engaging with all the stakeholders that participate in the processes of development of the built environment.
